Neuman Math — Privacy Policy

  Neuman Math ("Neuman Math," "we," "us") is an educational math quiz application. This Privacy Policy
  explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

  Who this app is for
  Neuman Math is designed so that an adult creates and manages the account (for example, a parent,
  guardian, or teacher). Learners use profiles inside the app (a display name and grade band) so
  progress can be saved per student. We do not provide a separate login for students under 13.
  Information we collect
  1. Account authentication
  If you sign in, we receive account-related information from your sign-in provider:
  - Sign in with Google (Google Sign-In): Information such as your name and email address as permitted
  by your Google account settings and Google's authorization screen. We do not receive your Google
  password.
  - Sign in with Apple: Information such as a unique account identifier, and email or an Apple relay
  email if you choose to share it. We do not receive your Apple password. What we receive may vary
  based on your choices in Apple's sign-in flow.
  We use this information to create and maintain your account, associate learner profiles with your
  account, and communicate with you when you contact us.
  2. Learner profiles (no separate student or under 13 login)
  After you sign in, you may create one or more learner profiles used only within Neuman Math. Each
  profile may include:
  - A display name you choose (for example, a first name or nickname), and
  - A grade band or similar learning level used to tailor quizzes.
  This profile information is stored with your account so we can save progress and personalize
  difficulty.
  3. Quiz and learning activity
  We collect information related to using the quiz features, such as quiz results, scores, progress
  indicators (for example, intensity or difficulty snapshots), timestamps, and related session data
  needed to operate quizzes and show history inside the app.
  4. Product analytics (Firebase)
  We use Google Firebase (Analytics) to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example, which
   features are used and stability-related signals), to improve the product, and to maintain the
  service.
  Depending on configuration, Firebase may process pseudonymous identifiers associated with the app
  installation (for example, an app instance identifier) and event data. We do not use Firebase in
  Neuman Math to run behavioral advertising across third-party apps or websites, and we do not enable
  advertising features for marketing personalization through Firebase in this app.
  5. Technical and service operations
  When you use Neuman Math, our servers automatically receive standard technical information needed to
  operate a cloud service, such as IP address, approximate timestamps, and request metadata (for
  example, error logs), to provide the service and protect security.
  We do not collect precise location, and we do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) from your
   device for Neuman Math.
  6. Optional text-to-speech (TTS)
  If you use features that read questions aloud, text you send for speech may be processed by our
  backend (hosted on Google Cloud) to generate audio. We use that content only to provide the TTS
  feature, not for advertising.
  How we use information
  We use the information above to:
  - Provide, operate, and improve Neuman Math
  - Authenticate users and secure accounts
  - Save and display progress for each learner profile
  - Personalize quiz difficulty and related learning features
  - Diagnose technical issues and improve reliability
  - Respond to your requests and comply with applicable law
  We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your information for third-party
  advertising in Neuman Math as described above.

  Student's privacy
  Neuman Math may be used by students under 13 under adult supervision. We intend for an adult to sign in and
  for students to practice under profiles tied to that adult's account. We aim to collect only
  information reasonably necessary to provide the service.
  If you believe we have collected personal information in a way that does not match this design,
  contact us at ping.qasimzeeshan@gmail.com and we will address the request promptly.
  Parents and guardians can delete the account (which removes associated profiles and related server
  data) using the in-app account deletion feature, or by emailing us (see Your choices and data
  deletion).
  Third-party services (subprocessors)
  Neuman Math relies on service providers to operate the app:
  Google — Google Sign-In; Google Cloud infrastructure (for example, hosting and databases)
  Apple — Sign in with Apple
  Google Firebase — Product analytics
  These providers process information on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy terms:

  We encourage you to review their policies.
  Data location and transfers
  We store and process information using Google Cloud infrastructure, including in the United States.
  If you access the app from outside your home country, your information may be transferred to and
  processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.
  Retention
  We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with
  law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or
  de-identify associated account data subject to reasonable backup and legal retention windows.
  Security
  We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal
  information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
  Your choices and data deletion
  You may:
  - Delete your account in the app using the account deletion option (when signed in). This is intended
   to remove your account and associated learner profiles and related activity tied to that account
  from our service, subject to legal and backup limitations.
  - Email us at ping.qasimzeeshan@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion. We will respond
   within a reasonable time and, where required by law, within the timeframe stated by applicable
  regulations.
  If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, you may also manage permissions through your Apple ID or
  Google account settings.
  Changes to this policy
  We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and
  update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required
   by law. Continued use of Neuman Math after the update becomes effective means you acknowledge the
  updated policy, except where applicable law requires a different process.
